HR Specialist – Join a Growing Construction Company
We are seeking a dedicated HR Specialist for our client, a rapidly growing company in the construction and concrete industry with approximately 200 employees. This is a permanent, full-time position.
Responsibilities:
In the role of HR Specialist, you will work broadly with HR-related matters, with recruitment and onboarding of new employees as a key part of your role. You will be responsible for handling employment matters as well as issues relating to labour law and collective agreements, ensuring that the company’s processes comply with current laws and agreements.
You will manage documentation and administration within HR, ensuring accuracy and structure. You will act as the point of contact for trade unions and be responsible for informing and supporting employees regarding terms of employment, collective agreements, and employment law matters—addressing all matters related to workplace environment and employee health —contributing to the creation of a safe and sustainable workplace. You will also collaborate closely with the HR team at the head office in Helsinki and with project managers on site. This makes you an important link between different parts of the organisation and helps drive HR work forward efficiently.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of HR experience, preferably within construction or a similar sector.
- Strong knowledge of Swedish labour law and collective agreements.
- Fluent in English and Polish; Swedish is desirable, and Russian/Ukrainian are considered an advantage.
- Driving licence (Category B) is required.
- Experience in recruitment and team planning.
- Ambitious and eager to develop.
